Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information this website collects, why it is collected, and what is done with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who is responsible
Tier1 Marketer is a solo paid-acquisition practice. Enquiries and data requests go to hello@tier1marketer.com and are handled by the same person who runs the accounts.
What is collected
Information you give directly
- Your name, email address and company name when you submit the contact form
- Your monthly ad spend range, channels and the description of your situation, when you provide them
- Anything you supply when booking a call through the scheduling widget, including the name, email and any answers you enter
Information collected automatically
- Standard server and analytics data such as pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, browser and device type
- Advertising and analytics identifiers set by third-party tools, where those tools are active on the site
Why it is collected
- To reply to your enquiry and, if relevant, prepare for and hold a call
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring qualified enquiries
- To measure advertising performance where paid traffic is sent to this site
- To meet record-keeping and tax obligations for work that becomes a paid engagement
Contact details submitted through this site are not sold, rented or added to a marketing list without a separate, explicit opt-in.
Third parties involved
This site relies on a small number of external services. Each receives only what it needs to function.
- Netlify, which hosts the site and processes form submissions
- GoHighLevel (via api.integrativesystems.io), which powers the booking calendar and stores enquiry and appointment records
- Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this site
- Analytics and advertising platforms, where configured, which may include Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and comparable identifiers may be used for analytics and advertising measurement. You can block or delete them in your browser settings. Doing so does not prevent you from using this site, reading anything on it, or booking a call.
How long information is kept
Enquiry records are kept for as long as there is a plausible reason to be in touch about the enquiry, and then removed. Records connected to a paid engagement are kept for as long as tax and contractual obligations require. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the information held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Send any of these requests to hello@tier1marketer.com and they will be handled within the timeframe the applicable law requires.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Information is held inside the platforms named above, each of which maintains its own security controls. Access on this side is limited to one person. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and no claim to the contrary is made here.
Children
This site is aimed at business owners and marketers. It is not directed at anyone under 16, and information is not knowingly collected from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting people who have already been in contact will be communicated directly.
